Guitar: Coop T-Style
Amp: Vintage Fender Princeton Reverb
Pedals: Earthquaker Devices Warden compressor, White Light OD and Disaster Transport delay.
Notes: Demonstrating a compressor’s function in a mix in a mix or song in a way that actually gives the listener a sense of it’s range and feel is, well, a challenge. I used a variety of tones and played each part first without compression and then with the Warden on. The somewhat “out” composition and playing was partly designed to allow enough space in the mix to hear the action of the comp.
